About

I'm a senior backend software engineer with over 12 years of experience, most recently for over 6 years at Google and >3 years at VideoAmp. Much of that time was spent as a tech lead. I have significant background in Go, Java, and Python, and I have a strong knowledge of Linux as a development and production environment. I love working on teams, and some of my proudest moments are of when I helped other engineers to become more effective.

In my off time, I'm an enthusiastic runner, with a 1:20:35 half marathon PR, and a 2:53:49 marathon PR. I'm also a longtime burner and Black Rock Ranger.
